| Wilkes-Barre Rifle Pistol Club is located in the scenic mountains of northeast PA. Chartered in 1923. The range originally was located about 4 blocks south of public square in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania on the site of what is now Nardone's pizza. As the city expanded, the founders needed a new location for the range. In 1948 they bought some acreage in Hunlock's Creek and moved the club abo ut 18 miles to it's current location.
Although the range is private and members only, ALL shooting events listed in our "Calendar of Events" section are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. With over 40 rifle bays on a 300 yard range, a separate handgun range for up to 20 pistols, and 3 utility ranges we can accommodate many shooters at a time.
